Roman Emperor Herennius with Diamonds

$250

This is a beautiful one of a kind handcrafted pendant inspired by the ancient Romans. It is modeled after a real historical antoninianus minted in the 3rd century AD in honor of Herennius Etruscus. A Quintus Herennius Etruscus Messius Decius was Roman emperor in 251, ruling jointly with his father Decius. His father was proclaimed emperor by his troops in September 249 while in Pannonia and Moesia, in opposition to Emperor Philip the Arab. The front side of the pendant features the head of Herennius, draped with a radiating crown. There are two beautiful round cut diamonds set in 24k solid bezels near the top. The backside of the pendant has a depiction of a two hands clasping one another which symbolizes peace. The bail is made with solid 24k yellow gold.

There is also the option of choosing a chain with a diamond clasp. That chain is made out of sterling silver. The clasp of the chain is made with silver, gold plated, decorated with tiny diamonds and is two sided.
