Philip II of Macedon with Gold Frame & Diamond
This is a beautiful one of a kind handcrafted pendant inspired by the ancient Macedonians. It is modeled after a historical drachm minted in Amphipolis in the 4th century BC. The front side of the pendant features Apollo with laurels facing to the right. The backside of the pendant has a depiction of Philip II on horseback. The inscription says "ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ" which translates to "of Philip" referring to the king in whose honor the coin was minted. The bail is made with solid 24k yellow gold as is the frame. The bottom of the pendant has a beautiful round cut diamond also set in a 24k solid gold bezel.
There is also the option of choosing a chain with a diamond clasp. That chain is made out of sterling silver and it is two tone with gold plating. The clasp of the chain is made with silver, decorated with tiny diamonds and is two sided.
