Istros Coin with Sea Eagle and Diamond
This is a beautiful one of a kind handcrafted pendant inspired by the ancient Greeks. It is modeled after a historical drachm minted in the Greek colony of Istros located in Thrace. Istros was probably the first Greek colony on the Black Sea, and was founded in 657 - 656 B.C. The front side of the pendant features two twins and some historians believe it represents the rising and setting sun. The backside of the pendant has a depiction of a sea-eagle grasping onto a dolphin with its talons. The bail is made with solid 24k yellow gold. The bottom of the pendant has a beautiful round cut diamond also set in a 24k solid gold bezel.
There is also the option of choosing a chain with a diamond clasp. That chain is made out of sterling silver. The clasp of the chain is made with silver, decorated with tiny diamonds, is gold plated and is two sided.
