Etruscan God Vejovis and Two Lares
$500
This is a beautiful one of a kind handcrafted pendant inspired by the ancient Romans. It is modeled after a real coin minted sometime in the 2nd century BC in the Roman Republic by the moneyer Lucius Caesius. The front face of the pendant depicts the Etruscan god Vejovis hurling a thunderbolt. The backside of the pendant has a depiction of two lares seated with a hound and a bust of Vulcan above. The bail is made with solid 24k yellow gold and so is the frame to the left which contains small round cut diamonds. The pendant comes with a complimentary silver wheat chain which is oxidized to give it a dark color.
The price does not include the chain. There is also the option of choosing a chain with a diamond clasp. That chain is made out of sterling silver and has gold plated links. The clasp of the chain is made with silver and is decorated with tiny diamonds and is two sided.
